Talent in Tech @ Duck and Waffle
November 29th - Duck and Waffle, 110 Bishopsgate, London, UK
The 2016 Harvey Nash CIO Survey, in association with KPMG, found that six out of ten hiring managers face challenges finding the right skills, and that over 80% of CIO's are concerned about retaining resources once hired. This is either because these skills are in very short supply, such as with niche / legacy tech, or because high market demand makes the cost of hiring a really good person prohibitive - especially software development and information / cyber security.
We would like to invite you to a Talent In Tech Dinner @ Duck and Waffle on 29th November. This is our second Talent-IT Event - we had a great turnout in June with our "Talent-IT Tech Business Breakfast", unveiling a new solution which combines bespoke training for career-shifters/graduates/ex-forces/returners to work with a low cost, high value temp-to-perm model. The Talent-IT Solution will reduce contractor costs, increase workforce diversity and help businesses to 'grow their own' tech talent.
During the event you will get to meet like-minded IT leaders, HR, Recruitment and Procurement professionals, gain insight from Harvey Nash's recent research around key trends, hear from a keynote speaker and talk through the different strategies being used to face the tech skills challenge - as well as enjoying 360 degree views of London and tasting signature dishes at the Duck & Waffle.
