Chief Finance Officer, Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust
Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children (GOSH) is the UK's pre-eminent paediatric centre and one of the top five children's hospitals in the world. We are renowned for delivering outstanding specialist and sub-specialist clinical services to children and young people across the UK and from overseas.
Working in partnership with the UCL Institute of Child Health, we support the largest centre in Europe devoted to research and postgraduate teaching in children's health. Our mission is to provide world-class care through putting the child and their family at the centre of everything we do.
Following the appointment of the current post holder to an international CFO position, there is now an outstanding opportunity for an exceptional individual to complement the current Board. You will bring strong commercial judgement and a passion for the design and delivery of safe and effective clinical services within a resource finite setting. With a track record of success and working at Board or senior level, we welcome interest from candidates with current NHS or healthcare experience as well as those in the wider public and commercial sectors who are able to establish immediate credibility in this portfolio.
Candidates must demonstrate:
- Strong senior finance experience, with an ability to command credibility and to constructively challenge internal and external partners
