Web and Database Manager
Location: Seattle, WA
Salary/Rate: $58,000-$65,000

Description
A local, non-profit client is seeking a Web and Database Manager who will report to the Director of Services.
Job position encompasses two main roles:
- Sales and marketing
- Managing the Web and database business unit
Position responsibilities will include: - Producing contracts for Web design, support and development
- Designing, developing and supporting Web applications
- Supervising the consulting team, assigning staff and sub-contractors to projects, and supporting contractors
Requirements
Candidate must be able to lead the team of consultants responsible for helping the organization's customers, to define requirements and implement database solutions, and to create dynamic, optimized Web sites.
Skills and knowledge requirements include:
- Experience with non-profit organizations
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- Ability to set clear sales targets and goals, and to pursue new opportunities competitively
- 3+ years experience in managing a business unit toward achieving revenue goals
- 3+ years experience as senior-level, project management and/or supervisory role
- 3+ years of experience in working with software project management tracking systems
- Ability to recruit, set goals, motivate and manage staff
- Proficiency with spreadsheet and database technologies for data analysis
- Salesforce.com and MS CRM experience is preferred
The candidate’s role will be to influence other local non-profits to more effectively use their resources by defining requirements and implementing database solutions and creating dynamic Web sites.
