Harvey Nash Earns Vietnam's Golden FDI Award

The Vietnamese Ministry of Planning and Investment honored Harvey Nash with the Golden FDI Award for outstanding business performance and contribution to the country

Vietnam, October 22, 2009 -- The Vietnamese Ministry of Planning and Investment honored Harvey Nash with the Golden FDI Award for outstanding business performance and contribution to the country September 20 at the Hanoi Opera House. At the event, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Thien Nhan presented awards to 85 foreign companies and 15 entrepreneurs from more than 1,000 candidates.

The award, granted every two years, honors and encourages foreign enterprises operating successfully in Vietnam, as well as outstanding Vietnamese enterprises investing directly in foreign markets. 2009 marked the first-ever event.

Speaking at the awards ceremony, Thien Nhan praised the significant contribution that foreign investment brings to the country's socio-economic development.

For more than nine years, Harvey Nash has operated a software development center in Vietnam, and today more than 4,500 people are employed there.
