Responsibilities

The main duties and responsibilities can be summarized as follows:
- Manage and develop the digital accounts team consisting of two account managers
- Build and maintain excellent relationships with all digital accounts
- Prepare proposals, presentations and negotiate content deals with partners
- Negotiate with repertoire owners and artist managers for content and plans for priority artists with the account
- Be point of escalation for digital account issues
- Update senior management about status and performance of the accounts
- Support business development / business affairs team
- Work with management team within the company to understand and implement digital business objectives. Part of this will also be to define digital marketing objectives, develop solutions and implement campaigns
- Work with senior management on the renegotiation of the account
- Develop new digital products and pricing strategies for the account
- Negotiate marketing plans and influence accounts to meet Universal’s digital marketing objectives. This also includes defining key performance indicators and measuring the success of the campaign
- Identify new product initiatives and business development opportunities within accounts and work with internal teams to make these opportunities happen
- Work with other members of UMGI team including international marketing, production /digital delivery, finance and legal to ensure good management, budgeting and communication of the digital accounts propositions & marketing
- Review and present the overall performance of the account on a regular basis
