Universal Music Group International is the division that manages UMG’s businesses in countries outside of North America.

Universal Music Group International (UMGI) has a Digital team whose core role is to support and develop digital initiatives as a central entity as well as co-ordinating and supporting digital requirements throughout the territories.

One main aspect of UMGI’s Digital is the management and co-ordination of accounts which span a large number of territories. There are approximately 40 key international digital accounts that need to be managed by Universal Music Group International and this number is growing. Global business partners include Apple/iTunes, Microsoft, Vodafone, Napster, Spotify, Google and Sky.
