The Physiological Society - Chief Executive - Competitive package

The Physiological Society is a highly regarded learned society with some 3,000 members, including 21 Nobel Laureates, across 60 countries. Founded in 1876, the Society has a prestigious reputation in scientific, clinical and academic circles. Its objectives are to promote the advancement of Physiology, within the UK and internationally, and contribute to the progress and understanding of biomedical and related sciences and the detection, prevention and treatment of disease and disability in all life forms.

Following Mike Collis’ successful tenure, we are now looking for a highly capable individual to joins us as Chief Executive and to lead the Society to the next phases of its development. Working closely with the Society’s President and Executive Committee, the Chief Executive will provide visionary leadership across the full range of functions and activities of the Society.
