Graduate Engineer needed to assist in the development, support and deployment of a new data analysis platform used for the optimisation of second and third generation mobile phone networks. You must have a telecoms degree and have proven industry experience. Job Functions Include:· Design and implementation of optimisation algorithms· Providing assistance to field consultants· Supporting the development and deployment of interfaces to mobile network vendor equipment· Statistical analysis of mobile measurement report data· Use and enhancement of geographic interface systems· Evaluation of software results. Specific Requirements· degree in Electronic Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or related subject· Excellent A-Level or equivalent results· Exceptional problem solving and problem analysis capabilities· Ability to learn new skills quickly in a dynamic environment· Excellent written and verbal communications skillsResponsibilities:· Design and implement appropriate technical solutions to enable the delivery of consulting projects· Provide expert support and advice to consultants on use of developed systems.· Oversee and monitor the use of developed systems to ensure best practices are followed.· Use system engineering and quality control techniques to ensure ongoing fitness for purpose of delivered solutions.· Where necessary, working directly towards consulting project objectives to ensure a seamless handover of new technologies to the consulting teams.· Provide training to consulting teams where new technology is deployed.· Keep up-to-date with new technologies and planning techniques
