SEI-CMMi Level 5
The Software Engineering Institute (SEI) has produced a number of models of software development which can be used to underpin process improvement initiatives, consequently providing more predictable delivery mechanisms. The Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMi) incorporates the Capability Model for Software (SW-CMM) and the Systems Engineering Capability Maturity Model (SE-CMM) and is used for benchmarking and improving the software acquisition process.
Harvey Nash is assessed at CMMi Level 5 and our customers can provide testament to the fact that we consistently deliver on time and to budget.

ISO 9001:2000
ISO (the International Organisation of Standardisation) is an international family of specifications and standards for quality assurance management systems involving a third party for inspection and registration. ISO 9001 certification means that Harvey Nash is both committed and able to achieve standards of quality that are recognised and respected throughout the world.
Harvey Nash achieved ISO 9001:2000 in 2001 after a thorough independent audit.
BS7799
Harvey Nash has achieved BS7799 accreditation at its site in Hanoi and is one of the first companies in Vietnam to achieve such accreditation. A crucial part of the accreditation is that Harvey Nash have implemented an Information Security Management System that includes comprehensive policies and procedures (collectively referred to as ISMS) to prevent information security breaches and / or reduce the impact of such security incidents. The implementation of the ISMS is imperative in helping the business maintain and demonstrate its integrity in dealing with all of its customers and trading partners.
European Clauses
Harvey Nash will ensure that they provide the same level of security and data handling requirements that are in place in client sites in the UK. The security of the offshore sites is adequate for the purpose of data processing as per Principle 7 and 8 of the Data Protection Act, BS7799 and EU directive. Harvey Nash are also ensure that we process the data in a secure manner and put in place adequate protection in order to meet our DP requirements, the development of a secure environment/process in which to do this is part of our overall process.
