3 quick questions to Caroline Wettermark, Head of Interim
Meet our Consultant Caroline who heads up our interim business.
1) How did you come to join Harvey Nash?
Before Harvey Nash I worked at one of the leading firms offering Interim Management services in Sweden. One of the reasons I left that job which I enjoyed very much was the opportunity to be part of building something new here. My assignment is to help grow and develop our offering into a leading provider of interim services of managers and specialists in Sweden. In addition, having two strong brands such as Alumni and Impact Executives close at hand made the offer from Harvey Nash even more tempting! The interim business is seeing a steady increase in demand here in Sweden but also across the Nordics, and this growth makes it more fun being part of this journey.
2) What is the best thing about working here?
The colleagues, our values and the space given to grow and develop. No idea is too difficult or unusual and one is expected to question, bring new ideas to the table and share past experiences and learnings. In the eight years Harvey Nash has been around, the company has developed into a mature and very successful organization that's also managed to keep an entrepreneurial spirit and creative environment, something I greatly appreciate.
I also very much like working in the value-driven leadership that we have here and where we all share the same core values. It very much sets a tone of collegiality and trust among each other. After having been here at Harvey Nash where our values are so present in our everyday work life I think I would have a very difficult time working somewhere that doesn't share my values.
3) How should one be to enjoy working at Harvey Nash?
To enjoy working here I think you would have to identify and be ready to live our values from day one. You must enjoy working in an environment where everything is not a given. You must be prepared to contribute, influence and be part of building something together. We talk a lot of everyone having a role to play and this is so true! Even if our interim offering is a relatively new business area I don't feel as though I am alone in building it because it is a joint effort. We share eachothers networks, share tips and names of potential candidates, we all help sell and inform our clients about this service as well as sell the expertise of our colleagues.
At Harvey Nash we want people that have an ability to listen and hear other people. You need to be interested in other people and open to their experiences. Personally, I like the combination of having the space to be professional and work at a high pace whilst also being able to let go a little and just have fun when the mood takes you!
