Are you a senior IT project manager and wants to work in one of the ten largest banks in Europe? Nordea offers the opportunity to lead complex and strategically important IT projects in an organization that is in an exciting phase.

Nordea is strengthening its division Group Treasure IT Solutions for several change initiatives. The team is responsible for the development and maintenance of solutions that support Treasury Asset and Liability Management business processes and Regulatory Reporting. The team acts as the interface between technology partners and business partners. The aim is to support the process and to provide state of the art technology solutions.

As a Senior Project Manager you will take an active role in:

  • Leading complex IT projects with focus on data warehousing and business intelligence.
  • Engaging and developing project team members in understanding the strategic and business rationale in your assigned projects.
  • Facilitating the collaboration between business and IT.

You will join a dynamic team consisting of 23 internal and 80 external colleagues working cross border and through an integrated reporting and data value chain. The environment is highly professional, with a high degree of personal responsibilities. As part of Group Functions IT you will team up across the Nordea value chain with our 200+ employees in four countries and 800+ consultants representing our professional global partners.

The position is located in Central Stockholm, Mäster Samuelsgatan.

The qualifications you need
You have experience in leading complex IT projects within financial services or other regulated industries, as well as experience of data warehousing or business intelligence. You have knowledge about how to comply with project steering models and processes, and the ability to managing multiple interfaces and stakeholders.

We expect that you have at a minimum Bachelor degree in information technology/computer science or finance/economics and a recognized project manager qualification (IPMA, PMI or Prince2 certification). Excellent English communication skills, written and spoken, is required. Experience in driving projects with an offshore or nearshore delivery element is preferred, as well as experience in working with an agile development process.
