Director of Product Management, Handicare


We are looking for a Director of Product Management. This is a strategic business function concentrated on providing the best solutions to meet the needs of the market. While this position is a leadership position, there is an expectation of execution and continuous delivery of innovation and improvements.

Job description
Handicare's Director of Product Management is overall responsible for the product strategy; identifying the needs for new products and services, work with a team of product managers to create and launch them, oversee those already in the market, and manage those products and services successfully throughout the various stages of its lifecycle. This includes discontinuing solutions that no longer generate sufficient profit.

The role spans activities from strategic to tactical and operational, and provides cross-functional leadership -- bridging gaps within the company between different functions. The Director of Product Management will also lead and be responsible for the Product Management Steering Group.

You will report to VP Strategy and IT. This is a new position within the company and you will be responsible for developing the team and organizing the function and processes.

Requirements / Qualifications
To succeed you have experience in managing teams, preferably from organizations situated in different locations. - Relevant degree in economics / market or similar
- Minimum 6 years' experience in product management
- Strategic, tactical and operational experience
- Experience of leading teams
- Analysis of market trends
- Strong knowledge of product life cycle management

Meriting

- Experience of working internationally or have worked in an international company
- Experience of B2B
- P&L responsibility
- Experience within product development and/or innovation
