Improving diversity in the Industrial sector

Wednesday 17 June, Heron Tower, London from 8.00 - 10.30am

The publication of Cranfield's 2015 Female FTSE Board report highlighted how close we are at hitting the target of 25% for women on boards. However, outside the FTSE100 and particularly within the Industrial sector (Transport, Engineering, Infrastructure and Manufacturing) the shortage of women is a pervasive problem that organisational leaders are struggling to redress.

On the 17th of June, Harvey Nash and Impact Executives are hosting a breakfast roundtable led by Carol Rosati, founder of the award-winning gender diversity networks, Inspire and Aspire, to explore simple and practical ways to improve diversity and build a talent pipeline for the future.

HR leaders have been invited to share their learning and offer perspectives on the different approaches to attracting and retaining diverse talent. We will also discuss examples from the Diversity Toolkit launched earlier this year by Inspire, which features tips, ideas and guidance from companies such as PwC, AMV BBDO, BNY Mellon, Atkins Global and Eversheds on creating a diversity strategy that best fits.

We would be delighted for you to join this morning session to gain insight from other businesses and share your views on this increasingly important issue.
