Sarn has over eight years experience in Executive Search, focussing on recruiting senior executives for both corporates and VC backed firms throughout EMEA. Sarn joined Harvey Nash in 2002.
After Sarn gained his MSc from Cranfield in Utilities Management and Engineering, he joined Vivendi to manage their commercial operations. He moved into recruitment in 1999, managing Sales VP assignments for US firms and UK VC backed businesses, “it’s hugely satisfying when you see the company flourish through the people you helped them to hire,” says Sarn.
He works extensively for global IT services firms, small and mid size US software organisations looking to grow their UK and European presence and diverse professional services firms. He quickly earns the trust of clients and candidates alike with his deep knowledge, his well renowned wit, and his tenacious and determined style.
In addition Sarn is the EMEA Account Director for one of the truly global IT services firms and is responsible for a number of critical hiring programs for that firm across the region, including the emerging markets. “Knowing your client intimately and holding a firm understanding of the competitive market is the only thing that will allow you and your client to win the race for talent.”
Sarn is passionate about the sea, whether sailing, cave-diving or kiteboarding, and still occasionally plays rugby. He also has a keen interest in cooking and field sports.
