Neville Washington OBE – Director

Specialises in: public sector, industrial sector and financial services sector in Scotland.

Neville entered the executive search profession in 1999, joining Harvey Nash in 2006 as head of our Scotland practice.

Previously a partner and co-founder of Odgers Ray & Berndtson’s Scottish office, Neville’s wide-ranging experience prior to executive search includes 20 years’ service in the British Army. In 1992 he was appointed as Director of Human Resources and Support Service for Glasgow’s Victoria Infirmary NHS Trust. He later set up the Coal Authority and was also its Chief Executive. He has also run a Ministry of Defence desk specialising in the armed forces’ role in industrial disputes, briefing directly into the Cabinet Office.

Neville is a keen equestrian and he also spends spare time beekeeping and breeding rare Black Welsh Mountain Sheep.
