Marcus joined Alumni / Harvey Nash in 2008 as a Senior Consultant focusing on Life Sciences and Finance.

Marcus holds degrees in Strategic Marketing and Corporate Finance from Sweden and the USA. He began his career as a finance and management trainee at Baxter Healthcare. At Baxter Marcus held various roles within the finance function in the US and in Switzerland. Before leaving Baxter, Marcus was the Business Controller for Baxter’s Medication Delivery division in Europe and acted as the finance lead on numerous acquisition and business development projects.

With a passion and flare for commercial thinking and sales, Marcus joined Michael Page in 2006. He quickly rose from Consultant to Manager and Head of Speciality Finance recruitment in Switzerland. He was involved in building up the Swiss recruitment practice, resulting in triple-digit growth in 2007. Marcus managed several key accounts including Syngenta, Marakon, KPMG, PWC, Deloitte, Nycomed, Wood Group and Pioneer Hi-Bred international.

Marcus has extensive experience with tackling holistic business issues together with senior management in a multi-cultural environment having spent more than eight years abroad. He is passionate about people and corporate change and enjoys having a positive impact on both.
