Magnus is CEO of Alumni/Harvey Nash in the Nordics and with more than eighteen years experience in executive search, Magnus has worked across most functions and industries.

His solid and trusted network among boards, top management in large corporations and decision makers in the political and public arena is a testament tohis extensive portfolio of successful assignments and a pre-requisite for the continued development and success of Alumni/Harvey Nash.

Most of Magnus’ current client relationships are closely tied to the boards and owners of leading Nordic corporations. He has lead Alumni’s pioneering work in developing methods for board evaluations;“To be a as trusted advisor to the board of an organisation is very interesting and inspiring work. I also feel that we can really contribute and that the work we do will create what all boards are there to create – higher share holder value”, comments Magnus.

Magnus co-founded Alumni in 1990 and has worked as consultant, partner and Managing Director ever since. Having been a driving force in building Sweden’s leading executive search company and recently integrating the company into Harvey Nash, Magnus has taken an integral role in Harvey Nash’s international leadership as part of the Executive Council.

Magnus has an M.Sc. in Business Administration, has graduated from officers school as a Major and has studied at Harvard Business School. He also has extensive board experience himself. Today he serves as a non executive chairman of the energy company Fortum Värme and as a board member of Stockholm Stadshus AB, the holding company for all of the City of Stockholm's companies. He also serves as jury chairman for national awards such as leader of the year (årets chef) and HR Manager of the year.
