Chris is responsible for the Life Sciences Practice based in the London office.
Chris specialises in recruiting senior management and non-executive directors into the Life Sciences sector. He has a background in global executive recruiting, as well as a thorough understanding of, and commitment to, the healthcare industry.
Before moving into executive search, Chris spent twelve years in biotechnology research, specialising in protein engineering and molecular genetics aiming to develop better therapeutic and diagnostic agents. He then moved to drug development in the pharmaceutical industry and for the next eight years held senior positions in clinical development, medical affairs and regulatory affairs in the corporate organisations of Sanofi and Pfizer, working in the UK, France and USA.
Using the broad industry experience gained, Chris moved into executive search in 2001 where he successfully developed new business with pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical technology companies in Europe, the USA and Asia Assignments completed include: Non-Executive Directors, CEOs, CFOs, General Managers, Managing Directors, Commercial Directors, Research Directors, Medical Directors and Regulatory Directors.
He is extremely well-connected and has a passion for helping companies to develop. Before joining Harvey Nash, Chris was Head of Life Sciences at Odgers Ray & Berndtson.
